The Australian Experience.
Leaving the service after the war, Will stays home with his family and during that time gets married. Together with his wife Dorothy they emigrate to Australia.
Arriving in Australia with the war behind him, he looks forward to settling down to follow a career as an electronics engineer. He was unaware that The Australian Intelligence Service was being reorganized, and looking for agents. As a veteran his wartime exploits follow him. An Australian agent contacts him at his place of employment wanting his electronics expertise.
His involvement in the world of espionage now takes on a sinister and troubling connotation. Developing a rapport with the Australian agents however made things easier for him, and it becomes a practiced art struggling to cope from one clandestine event to the next , to prevent his family from getting involved.
Eventually, things unravel and for both his and their safety he leaves Australia to go back to the relative security of his birthplace in England.
