Will and Dorothy Emigrate to Niagara Falls Canada in 1990

It was early spring when the plane took off from London enroute for Toronto. It would be a one-way trip for them this time. The angle of the lift as it left the ground had a special meaning for him this on this occasion. It felt as though he was being catapulted out of the worst trouble he had ever encountered and he was felling better about by the second. They were starting a new life and this time he was determined to make it one of stability and contentment.

Will and Dorothy sat overlooking Niagara Falls. It was only a short walk from where they now lived. Both winter and summer they had visited the scene many times. On that day the sun was bright, the sky clear and blue, an ideal day to relax and talk.

As each year had past Will was getting more confident, he would not be contacted again. Living a double life for over 40 years takes its toll, but he was now getting strong feelings about imparting his past, without the possibility of involving his family.

Will looked across at Dorothy. There was no time like the present, so he started from the beginning. Re-living the past however, proved more traumatic by the minute, and he found he could not continue imparting the contents of a lifetime. It was not going to be easy.

It was Dorothy's suggestion that he should write down the many incidents that he had encountered, which could ultimately be read by the family.

As they both walked away from the Falls together, Will felt both relief and added strength now that he had the support of his wife

Sitting down at his desk he picked up his pen and started to write Agent or Spy.
