Chapter 1 The Interrogation

 

Serving on troopships taking troops to Burma Will's convoy returns to the UK and anchors in the Firth of the Clyde Scotland.

His duties ashore each day take him into high security areas and an incident results in his interrogation by both military and MI5 intelligence. He is accused of passing information to German spies in the area. In wartime a death by firing squad offence The military clears him but MI5 doesn't. He finds out why on his next voyage to the far east,

 

Chapter  3  The War Correspondent

 MI5's intention becomes apparent when he is contacted by a British agent  in Algiers North  Africa  and coerced into a courier assignment in Aden Yemen his ships next port of call

 

 

Chapter   4   The Aden Incident

 

The simple delivery of a package into a remote area of Aden turns into a life threatening experience, and time  spent in a Yemeni jail.

 

 

Chapter 5 Mumbai India

His ship sails across the Indian ocean to Mumbai India to discharge it's troops. He is contacted by another agent in the Taj Mahal hotel with a second  assignment. Blyth an impeccably dressed " I say old chap" Englishman,  tries to recruit Will into the secret service, but he declines.

 

 

Chapter 7 The Hawaiian Assignment

Back in the UK he transfers to another ship which is sequestered by the US military for 2 years service in the Pacific and bound for Honolulu Hawaii. He is approached by an unlikely agent in the Royal Hawaiian Hotel Coconut Grove Bar. Gerald was Gay and ill-equipped for what transpired.  The mission is fraught with danger
